Hereby we start a blog. We’ll continue to inform of important events for our team, we’ll also start writing a devlog of our newest project and possibly will fit a few more general thoughts related to games. We can’t promise anything but we will try to publish once a week.
Recent and upcoming events
Last week we completed our game Master Lander. It’s available on itch.io. It doesn’t really get much interest, but that was expected for many reasons. The key thing is that it looks decent and we’ve learned a lot while making it. The only thing that didn’t go well, was the timing. We surpassed every possible due date and so we begin our next project much later than we expected.
We try to build a solid ground for our next game trough a thought trough creative vision and gameplay outline. It will be a science fiction game. We think science fiction should most of all appeal to our knowledge about the world in creating an interesting story rather than limit itself to just using a specific visual theme or general topic. This is what we currently miss in games and we’ll by trying to appeal to other people who also look for something like that.
The other important aspect of the game will be a clear influence on the world players can have tough their actions. The world is supposed to feel live and authentic so that the changes happening there will be unmistakeably interpreted as consequences of players choices.
Soon we should have a title and a more detailed description. So far we just had our first attempts at the visuals that will be capable of communicating the two above points. It can be found on reddit.
